You, however, came into a discussion and tried to shut it down with equivalent of "tut tut."
Obviously the people having the discussion were comfortable discussing celebrity gossip about a multimillionaire who exploits social media to market his work as readily as he breathes.

I agree with Consuela. I think that a marriage is only the business of the people in it. The fact that a person is famous doesn't make me their friend, or a part of their lives.

It's a bigger breach of board culture, I think, to come in and squelch a conversation because you don't like it.
Obviously the people that were talking about it did not have that qualm.
