Where my other Marvel characters at?
Thor: The Dark World opens in the US on November 8. I'm pretty sure we'll have tie-ins, probably the same week. Captain America: The Winter Solder opens April 4.
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

Isn't part of the premise no superheroes? I like the middle ground, myself. What life is like for the 99% of people who will never see one, but ripples will wash over their heads even if they don't know it at the time.

Seriously. Black Widow works for S.H.I.E.L.D. (okay, I'm probably never going to use the periods again; that is a pain in the ass), as does Hawkeye. I think the show sorely needs Jeremy Renner's arms.
Thor: The Dark World
Alternate title: Everyone Punches Loki For 2 Hours.
If Loki is onscreen for two hours I will punch Branagh or whoever got this go round for the same duration.
But even though Tasha and the other guy aren't super (depending on what you read when), they are also on the other side of the premise divide.

It comes down to me wanting Jeremy Renner's arms on my TV. I am a simple girl with simple needs.
We can find you substitute arms! Don't cling so tightly to one required solution!
Renner-equivalent arms are relevant to my interests.

Yeah, I like that, too. Like real life!
I mean, like in the way that I rarely see the CEO at my job. Not like how I never see Thor.
I would love Jeremy Renner's arms on my TV too, but I can see why they don't want direct cross between the movies and the TV.
Right now, it's just these arch little name drops. "Hey! Remember Stark? He was in that really successful movie we made." I don't need superhero protagonists, but I would like them to have both feet in the universe, instead of a toe.
