Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

NPH says Doc Horrible 2 will be a movie.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Apparently, not an April's Fool Joke: Joss a contender to direct The Avengers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

At least he knows the Marvel characters, unlike Wonder Woman.

I know he knows X, but is there actual evidence he knows Avengers better than Diana?

Eh, he's just a Marvel boy.

I never saw anything that made it look like he didn't get Wonder Woman.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I never saw anything that made it look like he didn't get Wonder Woman.

Indeed, everything I saw made it clear it was the studio that didn't get Wonder Woman, not him. Probably less danger of that with a Marvel movie.

I didn't get that sense. He got WW because of Buffy = girlpower etc. He wasn't that up on the WW mythos, or history or recent storylines or anything.

I don't doubt that he could've done a credible job with her. But she has been tricky to write for some writers and there isn't quite the rich history of fantastic storylines that you get with Batman or Superman.
