I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh God, Enver was great. He had Topher down. I mean, everything, from the way he moved to the timbre of his voice to the way he sucked in his breath at times.

So true. When I closed my eyes I couldn't tell whether Enver or the other guy was talking. I was watching at my neighbor's TIVO-blessed apartment and we rewatched every Enver scene at least once.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Yeah, Enver was great at acting like Topher but I friggin' HATE Topher and love Victor so found it extremely annoying. Decent eps, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was sad there was so little EG (and so much ED) in the first ep, but the startlement of the impersonation paid off for me. Also, the bonus AD helped distract me from the amount of ED. I did not like the actress who played his wife. I bought her as annoying handler woman, but she was a creepy devoted wife from the start.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Before they recvealed that she was Prentis' handler I was wondering if it was going to be a Dollhouse/Stepford Wives crossover.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Loved AD, but his real accent - still distracting.

I kept having Wesley/Faith flashbacks, which was also distracting.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was sad there was so little EG (and so much ED) in the first ep

I was actually so engrossed in the first ep that it wasn't until the end that I realized that there had been no Victor or Sierra.

Cute Maurissa Tancharoen cameo.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It does make me wonder what her exact relation to Caroline was. She said they were best friends, but is that remotely trustworthy.

I think that Bennett's a little off, she may have exaggerated or imagined the extent of their friendship. I suspect that they met when Caroline was originally captured.

I really loved the Victor/Topher stuff. I find Topher annoying, but I was endlessly amused by Enver's acting chops.

BTW, I'll bet that Madeleine's new name will be Nike.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So, how did Rossom get to Perrin? Was there some "high-level" programming that overrode everything else? How did they work his killing his wife/handler into that programming? Was it always their plan that she would die?

I'm not sure if he knew what the plan was to do in the hearings and he decided to go along with it for his own reasons, or what. I was surprised by that turn.

How did they work his killing his wife/handler into that programming? Was it always their plan that she would die?

I don't think that was them. I think that was all the Puppies mod that Bennett had go out in the disabling burst. He killed everyone he came across until he broke the thrall.
