I'm not sure if he knew what the plan was to do in the hearings and he decided to go along with it for his own reasons, or what. I was surprised by that turn.

I don't think that was them. I think that was all the Puppies mod that Bennett had go out in the disabling burst. He killed everyone he came across until he broke the thrall.

I think Bennett sent a KILLKILLKILL order to Sen. Perrin in order to maximize her chances to kill Caroline, because she didn't have enough time to be more specific.

I think there's a lesson for all of us here. Details do matter. Be VERY specific about who you want to kill, and how. Write neatly and duly, font 12, 1.5 spacing, and leave standard margins.
