Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I've deleted it, apologies. They should just air that bloody episode anyway, it's awesome.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

OK, I just watched the episode. My Victor-love has no bounds. NO BOUNDS. I think the actor playing Topher is doing a fucking hell of a job. I was very impressed. Also, yay for more Boyd. And 100% more BadAss!

the idea now is that she was innocent before, but now she's guilty of something that the Dollhouse can hold over her.

Which of course is a callback to Adelle's statement to Topher that everyone here has made morally questionable choices. She's now one of them. As, now, is Topher (a step up from no morals, I think.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

My Victor-love has no bounds. NO BOUNDS.

Not that I don't agree with said statement with every fiber of my being, but since we're talking on a Minear/Whedon show, I... don't want to get attached.

It's too late, of course, but I really don't want to get attached to characters I lurv. For they know how to twist, stab, shout and leave me with a hole in my heart in the size of Grand Canyon, and for some reason, keep coming back, for you love baby.

I wanna go away, but honey, I just can't stay...

Yeah, I think I should really go to sleep now.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I'm jinxing myself by saying this "out loud", but I actually feel a bit safer about that with this show because it's really a love for the actor and his mad skillz rather than the character. Not that I don't love Victor.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I... don't want to get attached.

Never mind getting attached to the actor--it's not that likely that Joss or Tim are going to kill the character (they haven't offed anyone painfully yet, have they?) before the show's demise.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

They teased us by making us think that they were going to get rid of him when Alpha cut him, but then they brought him back and with him, my hopes. I am cautious, as I refuse to commit fully. It's like dating the bouncer at your favorite bar. You know that you shouldn't; that at anytime, he just might drop you for some twenty something with a short skirt and bare midriff. But, while it lasts, it's goooooooood.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pretty sure the show will end first.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Hey, it's emotion. Not reasoning.

From Nikke Finke:

Joss Whedon Makes Bid For Terminator

I think it's a long shot unless he can kick in another three or four zeros. :)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Way to not link to Whedonesque, where he posted it, Nikki Finke!
