Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Even Topher can't be that cold.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Not on purpose.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Kevin, I think that should be whitefont.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Because, I for one, haven't seen the DVDs, yet.

Because we err on the side of caution.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I cant imagine anyone doing tht to anyone they know, much less care about.

Even Topher can't be that cold.

The presumption was originally based on the fact that he imprinted her to hate his smell (errr, or something like that. It's morning here, can't remember the details), but once I read it I could see it, easily, on the relationship and the way he's responding to her.

Maybe he came to the Dollhouse after her (she was there before him, right?). Maybe he wanted to find a way to make her happy. Maybe he thinks the dolls are mostly happy, and it's a way to use times and Dollhouse resources to understand better her situation (and again, thought it was a cool gig).

I don't know; all I know is that I can see it in their relationship.

There's also a wonderful chance, since it's morning and all, that somewhere in the show Topher mentioned he was an only child or something like that, and the theory is dead wrong. But I think there's something more to their relationship than just doll and imprinter.

I think that Topher is only recently seeing other people as people like himself. Only just getting peers in value. He's still power tripping like mad, even though he's more pro- doll rights.
