I think I'm confused because his post at Whedonesque links to Nikke Finke's site. Maybe he emailed her as well as posting it at Whedonesque?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

His post links to her original post about the rights going to auction, the one she mentions as "Updates." That's what he was responding to.

Maybe he emailed her as well as posting it at Whedonesque?

A Whedonesquer commented on the original post linking her to it.

Ah. I am less confused now. Thank you.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Frankly, I'd rather give it back to Josh Friedman.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

It's Victor I loved from the git go. His doll state is so open and childlike, and all his characters are so well-polished and distinct. I'm still not drawn to Sierra, but I think she did the story well.

ita is me.

Shir, that link was extremely uncanny. (And awesome).

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Don't count on no death - they're writing the remaining eps knowing they probably won't get picked back up. That said, I'm not quite sure Epitaph One would make sense then. But hey. Bring on the reaper, I say. If they haven't pissed off the fan base by the time the show finishes, they didn't succeed in making it good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If they haven't pissed off the fan base by the time the show finishes, they didn't succeed in making it good.

What's the necessary equivalence between quality and angering people?

I don't know. All I know is Dominic got sent to The Attic - basically killed - and I don't think most of the fan base even noticed/remembered/cared. That was a sign either the audience didn't respond to the character or the show, in my mind. Personally, I think it was the character. If they off somebody and people declare they aren't watching again (but then do), they're rockin' a show.

I think Dominic being sent to the Attic was excellent. But then again, he totally deserved it. Why shouldn't things like that happen?

If they off somebody and people declare they aren't watching again (but then do), they're rockin' a show

I don't believe in programming to piss people off. If you're true to your story and you piss people off, so be it. But shit-disturbing on purpose is just cheap and distracting.
