Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Speaking of, why didn't they just let him commit suicide? Their hands would be clean (not that they minded killing people) Are they keeping him around for some reason?

I wouldn't be shocked if he was used as an active at some point.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Speaking of, why didn't they just let him commit suicide?

Was he trying to?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Adelle said they'd imprint him to report to his bosses when necessary.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Was he trying to?

yes, he had a gun that he was trying to put to his head.

Adelle said they'd imprint him to report to his bosses when necessary.

That's how Adele got shot. He didn't succeed, but he still got a shot off.

I thought he was trying to shoot the others (versus himself). It was all kind of dark and crazy, with the blue light, etc. (A little melodramatic, I thought.)

Now that you mention it, though, how did he get ahold of a gun? Wrest it off one of the other handlers?

No, she told Topher to lose Victor's Roger imprint.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I do now wonder if the doctor is a doll.

Given she never leaves the Dollhouse, I'm guessing she got messed up somewhere along the line (possibly by Alpha), and this is how they are using her.

Of course, that leads to a potential hall of mirrors effect on who's a doll, which would be verra annoying in a late season X-Files kinda way.

No, she told Topher to lose Victor's Roger imprint.

No, Topher came out and held up the hard drive and said something about being the unabridged Lawrence Dominic. Adelle said "Lose it in the archives. I trust his body is on the way to the Attic?"

Then they talked about Echo, and she told Topher to "shelve the Lonely Hearts imprint"
