I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Props and all, but I thought that guy was a terrible actor. Pretty as hell, but the acting was baaaad.

Heretic! ::hisss::

(hugs Avery Brooks to self)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

::rips Avery from quester, hugs tightly::

Love him, loved Sisko, loved how different he was from the Captains that had preceded him.

So while grumpy black Klingon might seem cliche to you, at least it's different from street punk/pimp/dealer/gangsta.

Erm, it's not just to me, it's in the genre. The Next Gen Klingons were primarily black, as were the Jem'Hadar and the Jaffa were above average played by black actors.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

New topic: Hey Somervillains! Kickass Cupcakes is doing a co-promotion with the film Kick-Ass (ha!). The kid who plays Hit Girl will be at the Davis Square store this Thursday from 6-8pm.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The kid who plays Hit Girl will be at the Davis Square store this Thursday from 6-8pm.

I read an interview of her - she seems quite intelligent.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She was funny and adorable at WonderCon. And she was a better panelist than Aaron Johnson, the star of the movie. Who knocked up his 43-year-old director.

He seems like he's a great actor, though, given how completely different he is in person compared to the clips I've seen of the movie. Also, apparently he auditioned with his American accent, and when he dropped back to his natural British accent to answer a question about where he was from, the director was like, "Holy crap, that's the best fake British accent I've ever heard!"

Despite being engaged to an older woman and an expectant father, you mean?

I actually meant despite being a terrible mumbly panelist.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

At least he's 19, so it's not as if he's going to be dropped off at school by his girlfriend along with their kid.

I don't really mind the race-blind casting among the Asgardians since they're gods and all, rather than historical Vikings. I mean, some of their enemies are 20-foot tall blue people, where do you look for race-appropriate casting for that?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?
