12 Monkeys freaked me out more than anything I'd seen since Eraserhead by somehow managing to make Brad Pitt look exactly like the friend I was watching it with, including mannerisms and speech.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I feel like I need to watch Twilight, and yet I keep bumping it down in my queue.
Watched The Informant! and Almost Famous, and will watch Law Abiding Citizen. Next up is The Goods, Igor and Let The Right One In.
For Let The Right One In, watch it with the "theatrical subtitles" option (if available on the DVD you have), as they are better than the default subtitles (which were redone for the DVD release).
It'll probably default to the English voiceover version, so you'll have to change the language to Swedish as well.
Thanks for the tip!
When fictional vampires duke it out
"Down for the Count," a painting by Deviant Art's Poopbear, shows the Count from Sesame Street laying into the fangy-come-lately prettyboy from Twilight. It cheered me.
That's AWESOME. "ONE less sparkly vampire, mwah ha ha ..."
The hell? Ridley Scott is making a Monopoly movie? News articles.
Supposedly they're making a Space Invaders movie too.
Who needs product placement?
I'm waiting for the Pepsi Light movie.
