Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
That is amazing. Even more so if you compare to Andy Dwyer from Parks & Rec -- the guy in that picture can grow up to be Starlord no problem. Andy? NSM.
I'm glad to see he was able to find someone who could exorcise the spirit of Leif Garrett after that photo was taken.
That is so Swayze.
I finally got around to watching Winter Soldier (which was awesome!), but in reading the comments here from back in April, I saw this:
Didn't Ferris Bueller even have a post-credit scene? Where he peers out and says "Why are you people still here?"
So, I know this is five months late, but THE MUPPET MOVIE, PEOPLE! I always felt that Ferris was riffing on Animal.
An acquaintance of mine was ranting on Facebook a few months ago about how Captain America was giant douche and whatnot. Myself and a couple others defended Cap, but she didn't understand the appeal.
I just got a message from her that she watched Cap 2 the other day, and now she gets it.
He's not douchey!
Maybe she was thinking of Chris Evans in Fantastic Four?
Now that was douchey.
Yeah, we couldn't understand how you could get douchey from either Cap 1 or Avengers. Thankfully, Cap 2 made her see the light.

I don't understand what's in Cap 2 that would change someone's mind. His character seems pretty consistent across his appearances.
But I, you know, people can be pretty shameful about "misgiagnosing" certain actors, Chris Evans in particular, with I-didn't-see-the-performance-so-it-can't-happen.
Is it because he was just a brilliant douche?
