Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

The whole thing is in flashback with her telling some guy in a car. The guy who helped herin the cafe. I think the whole stule of the movie is too lowkey and quiet for me. It's barely holding my attemtion and I want more fight scenes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ah, okay. Those were sufficiently narratively framed that I clearly didn't give it a second thought.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh! That reminded me of one issue I had during the Dublin chase scenes: how the hell did Kenneth get the manpower on hand to swarm that many people through all those buildings so fast? I mean, as far as the authorities knew they were looking for a single killer; they weren't mobilizing the military to repel an invasion force or Godzilla.

And I feel cheated by the end. It felt low budget. I hope Gina Carano is given a chance to do amother movie. She's better than Steven Segal actor wise but his movies are more interesting

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Man, how gorgeous are these Avengers sculpts:

VERY gorgeous. The detail is just astonishing. Aw, I can't spend the money on those, and yet, I really want them!

Now watching Columbiana and so far it's much more interesting and better pacing.

Anyone know how long Avengers is expected to remain in theaters?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

But it's not going to stay in theaters right up til that day, is it? I have no idea how they decide that, except for yanking movies that aren't making money.

So Avengers is now officially the 3rd-largest grossing movie worldwide of all time. Beaten by James Cameron. I get how Titanic made so much money; it's got a broad appeal. But Avatar, I don't get how that made 3 billyun dollars.
