To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

And Bucky. Also, Hercules. (Though who hasn't been, really?)

Of course Clint was involved with Mockingbird, the Wasp, and sexed up a Wanda-shaped Doombot.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I read Marvel Comics back in the day and I have no memory of Hawkeye!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I read Marvel Comics back in the day and I have no memory of Hawkeye!

He rarely headlined his own title. He's mostly a character in The Avengers and periodically a guest on things like Daredevil.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Avengers is now open in Australia! And I'm in China. The hell?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Jars is seeing it tonight, in jolly old England! But she's seeing Avengers Assemble, which totally isn't the same movie. Probably.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

But she's seeing Avengers Assemble, which totally isn't the same movie.

I'm envisioning a movie about Thor and the Hulk putting together IKEA furniture, while Tony Stark sits and laughs at them.

Someone on the Internet has to have made that comic.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I wanna see the Ikea instructions, with graphics of an angry Hulk with a red circle with a line through it.

The Guardian's 4-star review:

Short version: he liked it, but the review is still nice and sarky. Favourite quote:

There is arguably now nothing to stop the mega-villains of the world forming their own Traveling Wilburys' supergroup of evilness.
