Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I wonder, is it possible for me to buy Star Wars: The Han Shot First Edition on DVD these days?

Was "Han shot first" ever on DVD?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Was "Han shot first" ever on DVD?

Yes. Holds very very old Special Editions with letterboxed-in-a-4:3-frame grainy-as-all-get-out theatrical cuts as bonus feature close FOREVER

Instead of people editing their movies to get rid of "lewdness", they can edit them to make Han shoot first.

Really, there needs to be someone to grab George and say "Stop fucking with it!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's on youtube. Frame by frame comparisons with the edits, as well as reconstruction of him shooting first from the new stock.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The thing I'm confused about is that in the original version, Greedo didn't shoot at ALL. Han just shot...first, last, all the times. So what exactly were we imagining? Maybe some anonymous evil invisible person actually shot poor, defenseless Greedo.

It's clear from that piece that George does not understand what makes Han shooting first resonate with people.

Didn't Jar-jar already prove that Lucas is at a complete loss for how anything resonates with people?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went with a friend tonight to see My Week with Marilyn. Michelle Williams's performance was amazing.

Oh Tom Hardy, don't ever change. (Mildly NSFW)

If you can't bare it at work (or, really, in public, legally) it's pretty likely NSFW in most workplaces.
