I thought DeNiro was creepy as hell in the remake of Cape Fear. And since he was supposed to be creepy, I'd call that good acting.

DeNiro's fantastic in Godfather II. A very soulful performance with allusions to Brando.

For Sam Jackson, Fresh is a terrific choice. That is an amazing film.

Yeah, where they're not the personality, but they are the character. Someone is citing them as not good actors, merely film stars. Whereas I think Jackson and De Niro earned star, and Pitt leavened it.
