May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

My roommate just told me to avoid Super 8 & that it's worse than Cloverfield.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, I liked Cloverfield, but I can see why she'd warn you off.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Finally got to see Thor tonight.

I enjoyed myself for the most part, but the idiot projectionist cut the movie off partway into the credits.(Right after Natalie Portman's name was onscreen) So I didn't see the post-credit bit. What was it?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh dear! It basically showed that Nick Fury had the Cosmic Cube, which is some sort of magical MacGuffin, and that Loki was whispering in Wossname's ear (the researcher dude). Don't think he's possessing him, but he's influencing him.

So tonight I watched the horrible terribleness that is The Last Dragon, which appears to be a blaxploitation martial arts film. Featuring William H. Macy, Chazz Palminteri, and Keshia Knight Pulliam in small roles.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Green Lantern has a mid-credits scene, for anyone interested. Between the flashy credit and just the roll of names.

XMen: First Class has nothing, disappointingly enough.

Thor's was the twistiest I'd seen since, maybe, X3?

I know, right??

But then came Fast Five.

True. Wasn't considering non-comic movies, but that was definitely a game changer.

I got shushed in the theatre for talking after a preview. The man twisted around, and was pissed. "It's a blank screen!" I objected. "It's the whole experience," he said, defensively.

And then he got up to pee during the movie, so fuck the whole experience. I got it, he didn't.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha, I totally would have stage-whispered, "it's the whole experience" at him when he was leaving.

I get him, though. Sometimes your bladder won't let you experience the whole experience.

Depends.
