Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Annalee from IO9 about Drive Angry:

I have never seen a gunfight between a man unleashed from hell and devil worshipers, while said man is simultaneously having sex with a woman and drinking Jack Daniels. Yes, there is actually a scene where this happens in Drive Angry, and it's possibly the most badass thing I have ever witnessed. Nic Cage is humping his lady friend, shooting with one hand, and swigging from the bottle with his other.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's...kind of awesome. I might have to see it now.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd wondered if I had confused it with some other movie when I saw a car appear out nowhere in an orange flash like an infernally-powered Delorean in one of the ads.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That sounds even more badass than the similar scene in Shoot 'Em Up.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

That sounds even more badass than the similar scene in Shoot 'Em Up.

Only if Nic Cage had previously killed someone with a carrot. And the girlfriend was lactating. I don't think the swigging tops that combo.

I just watched Buried, the movie where Ryan Reynolds is trapped in a coffin, and it's pretty great. I mean, as great as a movie about Ryan Reynolds trapped in a coffin can be, of course. Basically ninety minutes of pure oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

that's on my list to watch as soon as i'm done with the the Best Picture nominees, P-C.

I was pretty impressed with its ability to remain tense and interesting without ever leaving the fucking coffin. There are a few minutes here and there where it gets a little repetitive with the sounds of Ryan Reynolds groaning and struggling and screaming, but they pass quickly enough, and I'll bet they're more effective if you're totally into the movie and not eating dinner at the same time.

Someone spoiled me for the ending of Buried the other day. Hmmph. I'll put it in my queue anyway.

If I decided I want to see Alexander, should I rent the director's cut or theatrical, or should I shoot myself?

Watching Push right now. It's not brilliant, but I like it well enough. I do wish Fanning's skirt were longer, though.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I like the whump factor in Push, and that for all that there is a cute [slutty] kid in it, it's not kid friendly.
