Someone spoiled me for the ending of Buried the other day. Hmmph. I'll put it in my queue anyway.
If I decided I want to see Alexander, should I rent the director's cut or theatrical, or should I shoot myself?
Watching Push right now. It's not brilliant, but I like it well enough. I do wish Fanning's skirt were longer, though.
I like the whump factor in Push, and that for all that there is a cute [slutty] kid in it, it's not kid friendly.

Aw, that's too bad, but I think it'll still be good. It's more about the journey than the destination.
Push was good times, if only for being set somewhere besides LA or NYC. But there was all sorts of other cool stuff too.

I would never advocate for self-harm, but I would suggest that you evaluate the relative merits of time wasters in your life. Do you want to laugh and laugh, with a few groans thrown in? If so, by all means, see Alexander. If you don't have two hours you don't care about never getting back, reconsider.
Seriously, my standards are pretty low and that movie made me weep for my time, even though I did a lot of fast forwarding due to not having a hall deep enough to watch from.
eta: after thinking about why on earth any of those actors would need a pay check that badly, it occurred to me that they couldn't break their contracts once they were in. So, they each exhibited their loathing of Oliver Stone through their performances.
The director's cut might have more nudity in it. On the other hand, it's probably longer.

I've had the Oreo in chocolate chip. Quite yummy.
PC, I went to high school with the guy that wrote the screenplay for Buried. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm glad to hear you liked it.
