"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Caroline Dhavernas is barely in the movie at all and she serves no purpose whatsoever. Totally wasted.

Sadly, from what I hear, not unlike her new show,

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It's too bad. I mean, I'm glad she's drawing a primetime regular's paycheck and getting to enjoy shooting in Hawaii, but I hope when that turkey gets canceled it doesn't drive her from television for over half a decade like the Wonderfalls cancellation seemed to. I'd like the chance to regularly see her in something good again.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Sadly, from what I hear, not unlike her new show

I kind of like Off the Map but it does rain down anvils.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You know, Salt is a solid spy thriller with Angelina Jolie being fifteen kinds of badass, but I wish it had a real ending. I skimmed the descriptions of the director's cut and extended cut, and it looks like they didn't leave it open for a sequel. Of course, I wouldn't mind a sequel.

In conclusion: AGENT SMASH WILLIAMS.

I find that hard to believe given the ending. But, you know, I hope we get one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not surprise, and perhaps surprise:

Dark Shadows

Two more major parts have reportedly been cast. First up, there's Batman Returns star Michelle Pfeiffer, who's reportedly playing Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, the owner of the Collinwood mansion where all the action takes place. Then there's director Tim Burton's off-screen partner Helena Bonham Carter, who frequently appears in his films, will reportedly follow up her work in The King's Speech by playing Dr. Julia Hoffman, a blood specialist who becomes an unlikely ally of Johnny Depp's vampire Barnabas Collins.

I mean the other two cuts had very different, more final endings. Unless I'm misinterpreting your apparent misinterpretation.

Not surprise, and perhaps surprise

Ooh, I bet I can figure out which is which.

In the Extended Cut, Salt doesn't kill Orlov when she does. Instead, it's the final scene of the movie, which gives the impression that her revenge is done. In the Director's Cut, however, the President actually DOES die, and a voice-over hints that the new President will be a Russian sleeper agent. So the plan succeeds, the end. I suppose there's still a possibility for a sequel after those endings if you wanted, but it's not as obvious as in the theatrical cut. You can also look at his comparison between the Theatrical Cut and Director's Cut and comparison between the Extended Cut and Director's Cut.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wow, P-C, that's interesting, because the theatrical ending so clearly left it open, I thought that was the point. Setup for a franchise, in which Salt keeps looking for other sleepers.
