The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I can't recall if we actually see the parties in Auntie Mame or just their aftermath, but I'm sure they were fun.

We see part of one party, when Patrick first shows up on her doorstep. That's a party I would love to be at.

the costume ball inside the Christmas ornament in Labyrinth

Oooh, that would be good, too. Or the masked ball in Marie Antoinette. Or any one of the nights at Moulin Rouge, before they start working on the play.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thor trailer. I think it looks pretty sweet. I'm not a particular Thor fan (except for that one time Storm was Thor--that was cool), but I'll check this out.

Looks like there's an Asian guy in Asgard too.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

The big party in SAY ANYTHING. Because I know those people would be looking out for me. Plus - "Joe Lies".

The Thor trailer is super cool...but this comment cracked me up:

I like to watch this and imagine it's the Michael Bay version of Dirk Gently's Dark Teatime of the Soul.

I would pay money to see that movie.

Also, "In 2D in select theaters"? Like that's a feature? Woe to us of the two dimensions.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Right, bonny? I wanted to punch that phrase in the face.

I wanted to punch that phrase in the face.

I'm glad it's not just me. I seriously had an irrational flash right then. Not rage, exactly, but a giant surge of FrakYOU.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I prefer 2D

That's my point, Laga. I can't actually see 3D and am plagued by what feels like the coming lack of choice between not seeing anything in the theatre and having a raging headache.
