Corset! Is the kind that is worn with just a skirt, as a top? Or under something?
It's a simple waist cincher style. I want a plain white dress to wear under it.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sj, it sounds like it is going to be lovely!
Brain still explodey from last nights call. I need to remind myself, it's just talk, not an offer yet. But if it becomes an offer, oy. So much not finished here, and will take a few years before things are at a plateau that feels like I accomplished something. Ugg.
I just heard an ad on the radio advertising a restaurant as perfect for "bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and divorce parties." I don't think I've ever heard that advertised quite like that before.
I'm planning a divorce party. Ok, not so much a party, but gathering a bunch of the karate mom's and going across to the gelato place that makes gelatini's. Less than a month...
Suzi, it sounds like it could a good time. Definitely deserve something to mark the occasion.
I'm going to tell a story about the best divorce party ever, because there was no split. A woman I knew in Texas was living with a guy, and she had an asshole ex who went to a judge and court saying she was a bad influence on their son because she was living in sin without benefit of marriage, and the kid knew and what kind of influence was that. Now the ruling may or may not have been legal, but for that to be significant you need money for a lawyer. So the solution she and her sweetie chose was marriage.
And eventually the kid turned `18, at which point he could stay with whichever parent he damn well chose, and that parent was not going to be asshole biofather. Diane and her sweetie had no more need to be married and they had never wanted to be married. So they got a divorce and held a big divorce party to celebrate. And they were not going to stop living together, because they were each other's loves and intended to live together forever. They just did not want to be married. So it was a divorce, but not a breakup.
And I always found it kind of adorable though there has to be a bit of bitter in it for gay people who want to get married and aren't allowed to out to "preserve the institution" of marriage. Cause het people just respect it so much.
Congrats to Callaluna and DH!
Congrats to Callaluna, DH, and baby girl!
Is that two buffista weddings this weekend?
Congratulations, Callaluna!
IOcatN, you know, it does not seem fair to me. Harvey chases his tail, catches, occasionally bites it. Me? I gently wave his tail in front of his face, and he hautily pulls it out of my grasp and pointedly wraps it around him, like a properly starchy butler wrapping himself in aplomb. This cat jumps on my lap when I'm using the toilet, and I never jump on him when he's in the litter box. All I ask is to be able mess with his tail, and no! he won't let me.
