I loved the penguin story. (I am so glad that kid ain't mine.)
Angel ,'Chosen'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Will have to figure out how to mail Sparky BEGGING for Spam!
You twisted my arm. Insent.
Yeah, absolutely. And I don't need every random jerk on the tubes thinking I'm great. But years of, like, mascot conditioning, die hard apparently.
Sparklettes pix spam please!!
So we're going to watch "Fear Itself."
Ooo! What are your teaching points?
erika, that is a pain. It's really tough to be conciliatory and calm and have that rejected. I recently tried to have a srs discussion online with a homophobic douchebag whose only supporter in thread was a self-avowed KKK person. It was like arguing with a House Elf - always dropping one challenged argument to pop up with another.
What are your teaching points?
Always read the caption.
Donut n coffee:
Personally, if I had made that slip G did I would have apologized to all honest prostitutes for using a denigrating word for their profession and even more sincerely for comparing them something as low as K street lobbyists.
That was my reaction, too. Furthermore, sex workers don't make that kind of money, sure as hell don't get red carpet treatment, and generally don't have much of a choice regarding their careers.
Ooo! What are your teaching points?
For my video class: camera angles and shot compositions, use of special effects particularly forced perspective.
For my drama class: identifying objectives and using a variety of tactics to achieve those objectives.
For my speech class: hmmm...I haven't quite figured that one out yet, but I can come up with something. Vocal expression and energy?
I wanna see cute baby pics, but I can't at work. Stoopid filters.

Tell that to the assclown Superduperfreakanomics authors. Fucktards.
Yeah, although I shouldn't be surprised that a rude and judgmental person would be rude and judgmental again. But I thought someone arguing for maturity and civility might, you know, have some. Crazy thought, I know. Tep, I know! Freakanomics is now off my wish list, because the one advantage of arguing with college-aged libertarians about that is not having to pay money for the "privilege". Gud, yes, and I know that the Big Answer is that I love it when random people think I'm great, but I usually don't think that I am...I had a spasm of self-respect yesterday and have second-guessed it relentlessly ever since. There's a reason why it wasn't *Ellen* Grayson.
