I have run out of my regular morning tea, and the store I usually buy it from, was out. The tea I bought instead tastes like ass. I'm glad I was able to find the usual tea on amazon.com or I might become murderously cranky.

So I'm driving groggily in to work this morning, and I realize the large black vehicle in front of me is a hearse. Well, hearses need to go places too, but it's all alone and it's fairly early to be coming back from a funeral. Then I see there's something in the back, and as I get closer, I see it's a casket. With the top propped halfway open.

There's probably a very reasonable explanation: They need that casket at another location, they're storing something inside the casket for the trip. But it was a very disconcerting sight for early in the morning.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

They wanna reuse the casket, and they don't want the inside to get all stinky.

Tommyrot, so not helping.

Yay, Toddson for your courage.

Boo hiss to the bits of Aimee's body that are making her feel icky and/or worried.

Although it's just a preliminary report, the trigger for some types of Diabetes may be viral.

ETA: and it's a common virus type, too.

Aims huge hugs and love. For goodness sake, stay home and rest so you cab get better, ok? Try not to worry too much about the thyroid until they know what's going on. You may end up on thyroid meds, but I refuse (REFUSE) to believe that it's anything more serious. Huge hugs hugs.

Recovery-ma for your mom, Epic.

I've heard that before, and also that serious stress can be a trigger. Which makes sense, because Hubby's diabetes didn't manifest until he nearly died from kidney stone treatment, and mine appeared right after. And we both were seeing doctors regularly.
