I've heard that before, and also that serious stress can be a trigger. Which makes sense, because Hubby's diabetes didn't manifest until he nearly died from kidney stone treatment, and mine appeared right after. And we both were seeing doctors regularly.

The physical therapist today said that my shoulder seemed inflamed, and that it was better to try to calm it down than to do the usual exercises. So, ice and this thing where they attached electrodes to my shoulder. Never had the electrode thing before, but it worked really well.
