Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

that it's never funny. Not even when the guy "deserves" it.

100% true. Another aspect is that even if you buy the "it's anti rape because he gets it too" line (which, so much bullshit usually packed into that that I don't even want to get into it) is that for a lot of people who've been through this, I can only think this song must be incredibly triggering. I haven't heard the song, and I thankfully don't have a trigger response w/r/t references or descriptions of rape myself. But I know that for a lot of victims it's a big big issue. They're not going to listen to the end and go "oh well, okay then."

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

epic, I might add, that it's offensive in general, and that it might warrant a call to the FCC. If a costume malfunction is offensive, then that song has to be 10 times worse.

ION:

אנחנו Geeks! שיר ואני משחקים עם Google Translate.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm trying to read the Hebrew. Trying to figure out if it should be right to left or left to right. Going right to left, I've got "Google Translate Shir and I [something] people Geeks! we."

not sure if it goes l-r or r-l. I forget exactly what I typed. Something along the lines of. "Shir and I are being geeks. We are playing with Google Translate"

Oh! The word that I read as "people" is "with." Because my Hebrew spelling ability is even worse than my English spelling ability.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

If I had to plant things in my front yard every day I would have great butt muscles. I planted 3 out of 6 plants - my butt hurts. Adobe. who thought that ground should be that hard

That makes much more sense left to right than right to left. Left to right, it becomes, "We are geeks! Shir and I are playing with Google Translate."

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

my grandmother cultivated brocciflower (of which she was quite proud.) While i like broccoli, and like cauliflower (and will be planting both as soon as i have a garden in which to do so!) i don't really understand why she was so keen on combining the two. Because she just boiled it into mush.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Perhaps the challenge of growing it was its own reward.

While Glamcookie's cuteness goes without saying, I did mean to say, cute mama-with-bump earlier!
