That makes much more sense left to right than right to left. Left to right, it becomes, "We are geeks! Shir and I are playing with Google Translate."

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
my grandmother cultivated brocciflower (of which she was quite proud.) While i like broccoli, and like cauliflower (and will be planting both as soon as i have a garden in which to do so!) i don't really understand why she was so keen on combining the two. Because she just boiled it into mush.
Perhaps the challenge of growing it was its own reward.
While Glamcookie's cuteness goes without saying, I did mean to say, cute mama-with-bump earlier!
Hil, that looks about right!
Yes, GC looks fab!
Eew, mushy brocciflower.
If a costume malfunction is offensive, then that song has to be 10 times worse.
They play it on my station all the time. I'm surprised that it's allowable, given that they sometimes bleep out things as harmless as "ass."

I'm guessing it's allowable mainly because only a very small handful of mainly female listeners has complained, and fewer have mentioned to sponsors and advertisers that they find it offensive. I haven't heard it, because I listen to the radio only in the car, and that's usually oldies or classic rock stations.
Then again, if a lot of people complain about it, it will end up getting more attention rather than less.
I'm going to disagree with Omnis about calling the FCC. The song is from a 1992 album and I know it was really popular around here and was played quite a bit in 1993 or 1994. So I'm not sure how helpful it will be to complain about 17 year old song.
Although since the FCC is still investigating the wardrobe malfunction maybe they don't care about that.
I'm not sure what to say about writing the radio station back.
Hello Bitches from a very cold soggy Vermont. I tend to lurk in the background and seldom have any thing to add to the great posts I enjoy reading. Epic's post about the date rape song hits a nerve. Have to say I find the radio stations reply the very reason the whole song is so offensive. Does a second rape make the first rape less of serious issue ? Having dealt with rape on personal and professional level in my younger years I strongly feel as a society we are still no where close to dealing with rape. The response to your mail points to the very problem and reason we are offended. I have never dealt with a victim that said "I hope that person is raped in prison" . The rapist more often than not a family member or family friend. The trauma of rape is a life long challenge for victims. Every time its made light of people suffer through all the feelings they deal with. Hope some how this concept sinks into the mangers brain. Best of luck Epic. --- On a positive note I'm going to be loving up on my sweet Askye in less than thirty days and counting. Keep a light on Hun !!!
I did not sleep well. Many complicated dreams about being naked. Not in a 'I'm in the cafeteria at school and I'm suddenly naked' way - more in the 'I have a meeting at 3, and it is 2.45, and I have lost my clothes. Hmm' way.
