You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Requiescat in pace, Rigatoni.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Though if you could wear pajamas to work I suspect you would.

It's my biggest joy about working from home, honestly. Well, that and not worrying what tabs I have open on my computer.

That is my every Friday. I'm on the couch, in shorts and a t-shirt, with a big fat cat lying on my leg as if it's a pillow. And I'm working. Awesome.

I am erring on the side of caution and Teppy by waiting it out instead of taking more. Caution because I like my liver. Teppy because I would have taken more than the OTC dose if I did take some and La Tep is a pharm god.

Heh. I'm flattered, but I just know where to look stuff up. (Also, with Advil, you can take more than the OTC dose; just not more than the *prescription* dose [which is higher than the OTC dose].)

One of my friends on facebook linked to this photo, and I thought y'all would appreciate it.

That's excellent. Yesterday I finished the 4th of a series of really grim vampire books, so I'm taking that sign to heart.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Note: This spoiler-fonted for Extreme Intimate Knowledge of Stuff. And I'm posting to rant a bit and not so much sympathy, cause really? Now I'm just mad.

So I went to my OB for a mid-cycle ultrasound on Tuesday. I told them that I had some symptoms of a UTI, but not severe. They did a urine test and said it was fine. Ultrasound showed four good cycts on my ovary, ready to release eggs. OB told me to go home, put Joe on lockdown for the next week and make with sexing every other day. We did it Tuesday night, skipped Wednesday which was my day 14 and also the day I got my egg-whites, did it again last night. This morning they call me and tell me that they did a culture and I *do* have some bacteria in my urine and that they are calling in Macrobid for me for 7 days. I asked if the AB's would affect my getting pregnant and they said to treat the infection first and wait until next month to try getting pregnant. Can a UTI really affect getting pregnant? Does anyone know of a baby I can just have? Cause seriously, I am so incredibly over this whole thing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aims, I think it's the other way around - vaginal sex can make a UTI much worse.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Aims. Grrr. If I spot any spare babies, I will totally snag one for you.

eta Steph, are you enjoying the books despite their grimness?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe I'll just get a new kitten.

Cat college is far cheaper than human college.

There's lots of free-range babies in Utah, with apparently no one taking care of any of them. You want me to snag one and ship it to you?

Connie, if you could grab two, that would be aces!! Preferrably one of each gender, but really, any gender will do.

You got it, lots of duct tape, bubble wrap, and breathing tubes. Maybe pack them in sponges and you can hose 'em off when they get there.
