::sigh:: Sorry. Frustration overload. Shutting up now.
no need to shut up unless you want to. you need to talk/babble/vent/coo/whatever, we're here.
Saffron ,'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
::sigh:: Sorry. Frustration overload. Shutting up now.

Just be aware, there is smishing danger.
Dear Asshats: there is a reason that I sent you the information sheet to fill out - to make sure that I have the correct information. It does me no good when you write shit that I know is wrong, or leave out shit that is relevant (like say, the GPA required for the scholarship, cause I KNOT that you have one), or don't fill out the fucking forms.
No Love, Me.
How did I never see that corset site?
That's a great site for plus-size lingerie. I have this petticoat from them, as well as this bodyshaper thingie. Their stuff is pretty well-made and fits fantastically.
::sigh:: Sorry. Frustration overload. Shutting up now.{{{ Smonster }}} Don't you dare. We are here to help, even if it's only virtual hugs and smishes. And see, there was that iron idea. Lots of knowledge in these here parts.
Also, Seska, I wish the girls family was in Dallas area, I'd be happy to distract or tour guide or something to help. Alas, Houston is a good 4 hour drive. But if the girl needs to run away, open invitation for my couch. And the house is still rather tidy!
I like smishing! Smish away!
And thanks, y'all.
Barb, um, I *think* my iron has been checked somewhat recently? I can check w/ my PCP. I haven't noticed any random bruising or anything and if the last time (when I had mono) is any indicator, there would be serious random bruising.
And yes, my thyroid has been checked, and no, not just the test that is sometimes wrong but the whole shebang. My doc today said it was a shame it wasn't my thyroid, since that's such an easy fix, but then it hasn't turned out that way for my sis.
And - a lot of y'all know this - it's been, like, eight years of feeling pretty shitty a lot of the time. I just emailed my dance troupe to take a hiatus, b/c even dance isn't fun anymore. And that really scares me, b/c it's been one of the few consistently enjoyable things in my life for the last six years.
Okay, back to PR and infinitesimal productivity. You know it's bad when watching tv seems almost more effort than it's worth.
I'd be happy to distract or tour guide or something to help.
That's really kind, omnis - thank you! The Girl spent several of her childhood years in Houston, so she's pretty comfortable there - and I think she'll be too busy with family stuff to need distraction, especially as she'll only be there a few days. But that's really sweet of you. If I ever go there with her (she goes quite often), we'll try to find a way to meet up with you!
Went to the doctor today. I got a newer, better, more complicated ankle brace; a prescription for physical therapy; and a prescription for Tylenol 3. And a doctor who actually acknowledged that I am in pain, and that being in pain sucks.
Just got back from the pharmacy. On the way there, a random guy stopped me on the street to ask, "Where you from? Your people ain't from this country, are they?"
I have emailed my advisor three times since Sunday to ask to set up a time to meet sometime Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Still no response.
Speaking of celebrity tweeting, I just saw this pic of Nathan Fillion and the Doc Horrible Emmy. Very cute.
{{{{{smonster}}}}} It is so frustrating when you are doing everything you are supposed to do and nothing helps. Hang in there.
