Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

When I was a kid I always loved it when a peach pit was a little cracked and you could work it open and see the part inside that looked like an almond.

I still do! No, really.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aha! That would explain why my "allergic to nuts" neighbor brought over that nummy cashew/miso green bean thing that one time. (I guess it's easier to tell people who are cooking for you "allergic to nuts" than "allergic to nuts except for these things which are nutlike but botanically distinct.")

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have coffee, but I am not waking up.

I love learning new and interesting things from buffistas. Drupes!

ImemeN, I am so very sunburned.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Most almond extracts are made from the nut inside the pit of apricots. Cherry pits also have that same almond flavor.

Which is why you leave the pits IN when you make clafouti!

I need to investigate this cyanide peach pit thing... its in bitter almonds too so that makes sense. Is it all peaches? (It's not in sweet almonds). What about plums? Apricots? I deffinately want to crack open a cherry pit and roast whatever teensy little almond thing is in there.

And clearly the range of acorns needs investigating as well.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have coffee, but I am not waking up.

This is not a good thing. I'm actually pretty perky now, but I've been up for 4 hours already. 2 hours ago? NSM.

I am very much enjoying my morning tea after the nasty hotel tea yesterday. Still not quite awake though.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm still feeling as if I'm Coming Down With Something. Just kind of bleah and rundown and alternating tickly throat with feeling as if something is lodged in there.

Combined with DRAHMA on a writer's loop I'm on and I have zero patience. Next person on that loop to say something unbearably stupid may find themselves at the end of a virtual tongue-lashing from me. I'm feeling very Ilyria and "I want to hurt something."

That's pretty much how I've been feeling for about 2 weeks. Let me know if you find a way to conquer it.

“Not dead yet!”

If I wind up losing my shit on the writer's loop and I feel better afterwards, I'll let you know.
