Shiny dress!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

People who teach at the elementary level, I have a question.

I don't teach elementary (I teach middle school), but my experience has been that of flea's. At the 2 districts I have taught in, they are given books and unit topics and told during which weeks they should be teaching the topics. I'm fairly certain they get a lot of curr. material, too.

I teach a subject where there hasn't been a curriculum in place, so I write my own curriculum and materials. It's more work, but I like doing it. I can make sure things are very targeted for my students.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think it might even look pretty good on me, but even if it were not precisely flattering, it is so gorgeous that wearing it would make me feel fabulous.

1. you are fabulous no matter what you wear
2. I think it would look smashing.

I'm a bad influence because I'm the devil on your shoulder whispering, "Get it... it's verra pretty and its prettiness would only be enhanced by you wearing it..."

And what Vortex said.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That is a lovely dress, WindSparrow. I no good at imagining know what will look good on whom, but I was very happy with the dress I ordered from them.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Windsparrow, that dress is gorgeous, and you would command the room in it. Grand sweeping entrance, anyone?

Thrive to spite them

I love the dress. LOVE! It's so pretty.

I need some hivemind cooking help. I'm making a roasted potato salad for work. I have the salad part but I'm struggling with the dressing. I want to stay mayo free but the recipes I can find online for mayo free call for stuff I don't have and the Roasted potato salad recipe I did find called for roasted garlic mashed with some balasmic vinegar and oil.

Except I'm not sure my work group would really be balsamic vinegar fans (I know of one co worker who wasn't even sure what a clove of garlic was).

Would another kind of vinegar work well with it?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My favorite recipe uses maple syrup, dion mustard and white wine vinegar. If you used something other than basalmic you might find you need some sort of sweetener to mellow the vinegar a bit.

Best. Husband. Ever.

He just called me from the Lush store at Mandalay Bay asking what he can bring me.

Compassionately intolerant

That really is a gorgeous dress. I'm no fan of blue, but that shade is luminous. It can only be made more lovely by you in it.
