We have an Amby, but she sleeps with her head tilted to one side every night.
Ah, gotcha. My ped told me to just flip D's head over to the other side while he was sleeping. Clearly she was talking about some OTHER baby who would continue to sleep during a procedure like that.
Headache. Still don't wanna write that paper. Or actually, want to, but don't feel motivated to. Just whining here. But it would have been easier without the headache.
There are FOUR people in my office today. Monday is a bank holiday in the UK which means everyone in our London office has already gone home for the weekend.
Bejeweled, here I come.
I had a couple of these for the kids' carseats and bouncy seats. I was worried about the flat head.
I have to get my ass moving this morning. I'm working on a fundraiser tonight and I have to get the kids over to the center's playgroup so I can work and I am not even showered yet.
Oh, and Seska - have fun!
Ambien works like a charm for me. I've never had weirdness and as long as I give myself six hours to sleep I don't have gronk.
I'm feeling the urge to cook dinner tonight but don't know WHAT to cook.
Hm.
Mom cooked a huge meal for friends the other night and brought me a ton of leftovers. So, I don't have to worry about what we're having tonight. The warm weather just doesn't inspire me to cook the way cold weather does.
I'm the same way, sj-- I do a LOT more cooking when it's cooler, plus, my favorite style of cooking is much more cold-weather oriented (stews, pies, soups...). But still, Lewis goes out of town Sunday for his company's manager's conference which is depressing the shit out of him at the moment, since he'd really hoped to have a reason NOT to go. Plus, he closes tomorrow night, so it's not like I'll have a chance to cook dinner for him tomorrow.
I think it's the evil influence of the Williams Sonoma email that's making me want to bustle around and make something good.
Clearly she was talking about some OTHER baby who would continue to sleep during a procedure like that.
Mine will sleep through it, give a little stretch and flop over to the other side again. We persist, but it's become a game for us to bet how long it takes for her to re-arrange herself back to Most Favored Side Status. If the doctor thinks we should take it more seriously, we will, but I'm not particularly concerned at this point.
I am hungry enough that I could eat my lunch now.
