The story that got me curious about "chav" was the one about the 15-year-old girl and 13-year-old boy who had a baby. I saw it a lot in the comment threads.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Are Kath & Kim chavs?
Just heard two men leave from the apartment across the hall.
aww. Sometimes I really miss the 90's.
I just bought a DVD of the opera I was "in" (The Lyric Opera hired a horse and I came with him). As far as I can tell the costumes, set and staging are nearly identical. From Chicago in 2000 to (I think) Munich in 2005. Are operas pretty much the same no matter where you see them?
...aren't Kath & Kim Australian?

oops. I thought the show originated on BBC.
Matilda is growing up way to quickly, and she's too darn cute!
And now that the photo has refreshed my memory I can see that the set is not the same, and they used a donkey instead of a horse. Poor operinos. Horses are trouble enough.

Hey!
We do have some local shows here, y'know.
well I figured. But it seems like ganking from the BBC is the Thing To Do in USian tv these days.

We're so proud your networks have started making rip-offs of our shows too. I can't wait to see NBC's version of Hey Dad!
