Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

not so sure. there is very little that is playful or childlike like Bjork about the SWINTON.

Definitely from different houses, that's for sure. But elves none-the-less.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Isn't Tilda Swinton the muse of one of those avant garde designers? I can't recall who, but I'm guessing much of her appeal is that she can wear anything and appears to have a sense of humor about fashion. I'd love to see her dressed like Djuna Barnes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Some Tilda Swinton fashion stuff:

Swinton, Tilda

The last one has the freakiest fashion, IMHO. These are all from Fabulon - they love her! (Note: These are all worksafe, but parts of Fabulon are NSFW.)

That which does not kill you should RUN

Swinton is the most attractive Hollywood actress - to me, anyway.

I'm curious -- what is it that you find attractive about her? Because to my eyes she's so very plain and creepy, but I read lots of praise about her appearance. So -- given that everyone's MMV (I will *never* understand the appeal of, say, Sean Bean, or the new James Bond guy), what features/characteristics make Tilda Swinton so appealing?

(I feel like a moron for not finding attractive the people who many of my friends find attractive. Like, Steph! Your eyes are broken!)

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

I want to have a suit made out of whatever material she's wearing here: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think Tilda Swinton is unnaturally beautiful, but not very attractive. In fact, more offputting.

And I still think last night's dress was appalling.

Sean Bean and Daniel Craig are rugged verging on the joli laid. Manly and rrowr.

It's weird - she's kind of manly-looking, right? I tend to find androgynous women rather attractive. Or maybe it's the big ears and buggy-eyes....

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I'm curious -- what is it that you find attractive about her?

I think she's attractive, particularly her bone structure. But maybe striking is a better word.

And I think she looked fabulous last night, despite her god-awful dress. But she often has hideous clothes.

Furthermore, to me, she's not one of those people trying to be a "star", so I give her more of a pass on wardrobe. But the people trying? Who have all the resources in the world to look great? I don't get why they make the choices they do.
