Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

made a point of saying the network did *not* pay her for the interview.

That's because NBC doesn't pay for *interviews.* They do, however, pay licensing fees for photos and video.

Which is why, I assume in my blackhearted way, that NBC very pointedly said that they did not pay *for the interview*; not that they didn't pay OctoMom for *anything*. That way it isn't a lie.

(I say all that not having facts about whether money changed hands; I only know the specifics about what NBC does and does not pay for.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm sure she'll have lots of time for grad school with eight newborns.

Always Anti-fascist!

And, okay, fuck up your kids, cost the taxpayers money, you aren't the first, and you won't be the last. But I can't forgive her for making me agree with Billo the Clown.

brillig

I'm amazed that all 6 embryos took, to the degree of two sets of twins. She ought to donate some of those eggs, they're apparently very sturdy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I really don't want this woman's genes swimming around in the pool any more than they already are.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She doesn't think the government assistance she gets is welfare! Because she neeeeeeds it! This is why I can't pay any more attention.

Punishingly Intricate

crap, they just let one of my co-workers go. He was kind of difficult to work with (INTERUPTER EXTRAORDINAIRE) but basically a nice guy. And he has a family. Supposedly got a nice severance at least. And supposedly my job is still safe (I'm easy to work with!) and the company is doing fine. Still it's unnerving. There are only 8 of us here now (including the 3 partners).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

She doesn't think the government assistance she gets is welfare! Because she neeeeeeds it!

So welfare is what other people get, because they're lazy leaches. Sorta' reminds me of that article on people in the anti-abortion movement who have abortions - the article was titled something like, "Every abortion is immoral except mine."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Eep, Lisa. We lost some people around here yesterday, and it's no fun at all.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

But I can't forgive her for making me agree with Billo the Clown.

I love Erika. So so much.

Oh, Lisa, I am so sorry. You, too, Brenda. I was wondering what came of your meeting from yesterday morning.
