Ha ha ha. I showed my co-worker the story on The Blob, and she said, "It's still a UFO, huh?"
"It's not flying," I said.
She replied, "It's floating!"

Have we discussed the Roller-Saking Babies here? [link] I feel like I ought to think it's horrifying, but instead I find it charming and kind of love it.
Have we discussed the Roller-Saking Babies here?
Yeah, I linked to it a while back....
Timelies all!
I was 16 months old at the time of the moon landing. I don't know if my parents watched or not. I don't remember seeing it.
The cat across the way is about to burn his eyeballs out from staring at me so hard. He's a black and white with a little Hitler mustache and a very intense gaze.
(As an aside, how much do I love being able to work from home? I'm on a crazy deadline but I'm outside, beer in hand, having a stare-down with Hitler, and still getting my work done. I can only do it once a week, and probably wouldn't want to do more than two, but man, does it make life better.)
I don't remember the moon landing. Heck, I don't actually remember the Challenger (it's all hazy...I think I remember the memory, if that makes sense...)
Living in those times with riots and assassinations and moon walking and all that must've been kinda crazy as an adult. Eesh. I wonder...
Growing human flesh? Yay for burn victims...but I immediately wonder what color it is? Would it look weird on people? Does it eventually get replaced with your own skin or does it always look weird on you?
Maybe they remove all your skin and replace it with synthetic skin to ensure an even coat.
Skin grafts currently look weird, in my limited experience, so I'd guess it wouldn't look any weirder than that?
