I might do that tonight. I got sour cherries at the farmers market yesterday and OMG so good. I'm going to have to trek to the one on the other side of downtown tomorrow to see how much more of them I can get.

Yay--John Barrowman is going to star in La Cage Aux Folles, and here's a promo pic of him in drag!
Nice fake tits.
I have farmers market tomorrow and I MUST wake up on time and actually go this week.
And, at long last, I'll make a sour cherry clafouti. Should I get one pint or two?
I'm only vaguely sure what a clafouti is, but I bet it's more work than pancakes.
Which I now have. nom nom.
Dana, do I still own you money for the Vividcon dvd set? I have the feeling I do.
Dana, do I still own you money for the Vividcon dvd set?
Um, yeah, looks like it. $10.50. The con's in mid-August, so I'll send you the DVDs after that.
Or e-mail me if you want to send a check.
How about I send you a check for $15 or so to cover postage?
I am e-mailing you right now!

So not. Here's the recipe I use, which I think is partially Jesse's.
Clafoutis
2 tbsp butter
2 cups cherries (or blueberries)
4 eggs
½ cup sugar
½ cup lowfat milk
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp dark rum
¾ cup flour
pinch salt
--Preheat oven to 350°. Place butter in 8x8 glass pan to melt in oven.
--Whisk eggs in bowl. Add sugar and whisk until mixture thickens and is pale yellow. Add milk, cream, vanilla, and rum. Whisk to combine. Add flour and salt. Whisk to combine.
--Layer berries over the bottom of the glass pan. Pour mixture over berries in pan.
--Bake, rotating once, about 45 minutes.
