ita, or both! Don't limit the stupidity of others!
Okay, help. We are driving from San Francisco back to LA. We have a one night reservation in San Francisco at a hotel in Union Square. Then we have a sunday night with no reservations yet. Then two nights outside of Santa Barbara at a resort. So for the Sunday, I need to find a good kind friendly hotel. And we should probably stay somewhere between Carmel and Cambria. Any suggestions?
You'll all be pleased to hear that I talked to my mother tonight. She is leaving for Europe in the morning, and she's packing capri pants.
Congratulations, Nilly! How exciting!

Oh, not this
again.

Things to say during sex.
Ha! Good: "Sweet Jesus!" Bad: "Jesus is sweet!"
Good: "Want some sugar?" Bad: "Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?"

Between the two I don't know, but in Cambria I've stayed at the Sand Pebbles Inn on Moonstone Beach a couple of times now. Very nice and relaxed. Great complimentary breakfast that you can take up to your room.
We also stayed in the fantabulous Carmel Highlands Inn in Point Lobos just south of Carmel. My sister paid for it and I have a feeling I don't want to know how much it was.
My sister looked into a number of Big Sur places on the way but didn't love any of them.

Madonna Inn! What's not to love?
Okay, another less goofy choice would be to find a little hotel somewhere in Morro Bay or Cayucos. We had a great time there. Good tacos (but absurdly huge) at Taco Temple.
Fred Pete, so sorry to hear about your loss. Good night, sweet Teddy, a flight of angels wing thee to thy rest.
Been awake since midnight. 3:30 now. This is not good.
With all the excitement yesterday, I made a mistake I'm really sorry for: I didn't wish Zenkitty a happy birthday.
Zenkitty, happy second-day-of-your-new-age! I hope all the forgetfulness and less-than-nice parts of the coming year will end with mine.
Juliebird, I hope you get some sleep soon!
