With all the excitement yesterday, I made a mistake I'm really sorry for: I didn't wish Zenkitty a happy birthday.
Zenkitty, happy second-day-of-your-new-age! I hope all the forgetfulness and less-than-nice parts of the coming year will end with mine.
Juliebird, I hope you get some sleep soon!
Nilly, congratulations. I am so happy for you.
Fred, I am so very sorry for your and DH's loss. You were wonderful humans and I am sorry for the loss.
Happy Birthday Zenkitty!
My babysitter was named Marianne and had brothers and sisters named Marilee, Mary Lynn, Marion, Mary Kay and Larry.
Maria Theresa of Austria had eight daughters, all named "Maria" Something. I'm not sure if it was a BVM thing or serious narcissism.
Belated birthday happies, Zenkitty.
Maria Theresa of Austria had eight daughters, all named "Maria" Something.
There's nothing so odd about that: Kemal Ataturk had an entire menagerie called Abdul!
Our middle names are Fay and Kay.
we've done this before, right? How my mom and her twin sister have the same middle names but with e's on the end. And they were often called by their first and missle names because, well, southern and then they rhyme.
I mad cupcakes for my co-worker's birthday and she is off sick today. I also committed a work faux pas and only made enough for people on my floor, but I was spotted by several other people coming in the building with these cupcakes. I work in a building where there is just enough staff (30) that if you don't make enough for everyone, they (or at least some very vocal people) get shirty.
Tonight is Leverage night!
