The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Clio is enjoying the action at Perkins' house: [link]

Awesome!

I have gone out to breakfast, gone to target, realized it was still too early to do any of my other errands at that shopping center, driven to the cash machine near the nail saloon I was hoping would be open, realized I no longer had my wallet, called Target in a panic, realized that if someone who didn't suck had found my wallet, they might have turned it into the Starbucks near the Target, driven back to the shopping center, gotten extremely lucky at Starbucks, given the Starbucks people all of the (not much) cash I had in my wallet as a thank you tip, gone to Petco, Costco and TJs, and am now home.

I think that's enough for the day, right?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Accomplished so far today: woke up, realized I had a nosebleed, swore a few times, cleaned up blood, ate breakfast, went back to bed for four hour. Still to be accomplished today: buy Zyrtec.

Our wings are not tired.

That is so sad. I feel for both families.

Woke up - 100% Breakfast - 100% Morning tv show - 100% Work projects - 50% Lunch - 100% House projects - 0% Relaxation - 20%

Back to work so that I can get back to the relaxing part.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Woke up, ate breakfast, got bike seat fixed, cleaned a little.

Now going to attempt nap.

Amusing toddler overreaction of the day -

Dylan, carrying my button-down pajama top: This is Mommy's shirt! I want put on Mommy's shirt!
DH: Okay, do you want some help?
Dylan: Want do it myself! Shirt goes over head!
t attempts to put unbuttoned button-down shirt over head. fails.
DH: Dylan, this kind of shirt doesn't go over your head.
Dylan: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! t runs into bedroom, slams door

I really can't wait until he's a teenager.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The shirt, like the cake, is a lie.

Because books.

Yikes, Lee! That's a good ending to the story, though.

At least Dylan approves of your fashion sense, Jessica?

It's July 12, and I'm in jeans, a long-sleeved tee, and a sweatshirt. I am not amused.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Life of Birds is currently featuring an inflatable parrot. I approve.

Our wings are not tired.

I hear you, Amy. The sun is out so I was fooled into going outside with short sleeves. Mistake.
