Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Palin’s life has sometimes played out like an unholy amalgam of Desperate Housewives and Northern Exposure.

Heh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It doesn't quite seem like a tennis tournament without Rafa constantly tugging at the seat of his pants.

It's true. Poor boy and his jock itch. Roddick seems to have cured himself of needing to adjust his package every minute or so. But now he's twitching at his shirt. Take a cue from Federer--Darth Fed wears the right size.

Speaking of whom, I'm askeered of the Karlovic/Federer match. Dr. Ivo better not win, as much as I like him.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm on hold with Travelocity's Customer Relations department so I can yell at them about fucking up a ticket of mine. They keep insisting it was booked correctly. I say, considering that the Delta agent at the gate said "You're not on these flights," that it was not booked correctly.

Nor do I feel inclined to accept their offer of $50 off a flight/hotel package. I'd love to know what makes them think I'll be using their services again.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

9 minutes before someone picked up my call. Now I am on hold again so she can look up the details.

Our wings are not tired.

News flash: Minnesota's Supreme Court has declared Democrat Al Franken the winner of the state's disputed U.S. Senate race.

Is this it, or do we go to a higher level?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Is this it, or do we go to a higher level?

Depends on how badly Pawlenty wants to be President.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Is it wrong of me to want Palin to stay a public figure for the entertainment value?

Public figure = good
Public figure holding political office, whose decisions affect people = BAD

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The decision was unanimous. It would be hard for Pawlenty not to sign off on it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Dana - ask to speak to a supervisor. It is amazing how some customer service agents can't think beyond the basic script.

In making some of the calls regarding my mom passing, I had one agent insist that she had to speak to my mom. I kept telling her that she had died but she insisted that I didn't have the authority to speak on her behalf without mom's permission. Uhhh, ok.
