Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm off work today, going to Trader Joe's and getting a massage. Other thrilling weekend plans include the library and possibly laundry, although the rain may mean that I actually just stay in the house all weekend, in which case I hope to do some cleaning.

Hazy Hot & Humid will be here soon enough. I'm one New Yorker who sees this weather as a good thing. Many is the year I've been air conditioner dependant by now.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

What are people who aren't in Seattle doing this weekend?

Aside from hiding from the 95+ F temps? I'll be doing a bunch of freelance web work that I should have done last weekend. I'm thinking of getting on book mooch. I'll also clean the apartment and do something or other to celebrate the Solstice. No naked woods dancing, though. The mosquitoes are too fierce and my tradition doesn't call for blood sacrifice.
