Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm not doing much this weekend. Might go grocery shopping.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Speaking of alternative activities, I should totally be allowed to spend today watching vids rather than working, yes?

Oh, and as I have just been reminded, Happy Juneteenth!

hip deep in pie

I don't have any plans for the weekend. Every weekend I say I need to clean my house, and while some cleaning happens, it never gets CLEAN. Since it's supposed to rain, maybe this will be the weekend?

Coding and Sleeping

Happy Birthday, Plei!

That's awesome Barb!

This weekend will involve cleaning, maybe seeing a movie with my BiL if isn't too annoyed I've put it off for two weeks now, hopefully some writing, and the usual sort of family things.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Woo! Juneteenth, Ple's birthday and F2F Prom all in convergence.

Happy birthday, Pleiades! I wish you a day full of beautiful tipsy women in corsets.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

What are people who aren't in Seattle doing this weekend?

Tonight I had a get-together with former coworkers. It was fun, made me feel pretty good about where I am in life right now. (I foolishly took Ryan photos but left them in the car. Oh well, they're on Flickr anyway.)

Tomorrow I have a Chinese lesson (as usual). Aside from that, I expect to be doing a lot of caring for Ryan (Wallybee and her parents all have colds right now, Wallybee after only recovering from a cold last week). I'll also probably apply for a student loan for the Master of Finance, and enrol in a course in Training and Assessment.

That's probably enough for one weekend.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So is anyone dancing naked in the woods to celebrate the Summer Solstice? (which happens June 21 at 1:45 A.M. EDT)

Our wings are not tired.

Chores, grocery shopping (now an adventure involving driving 45 miles to 'the city'), preparing to have a couple extra teen boys here for a couple weeks. In between chores, getting out on the lake for some R&R.

Perhaps dancing naked in the woods, but it will have to be a quick dance because way too cold out.
