What are people who aren't in Seattle doing this weekend?
Tonight I had a get-together with former coworkers. It was fun, made me feel pretty good about where I am in life right now. (I foolishly took Ryan photos but left them in the car. Oh well, they're on Flickr anyway.)
Tomorrow I have a Chinese lesson (as usual). Aside from that, I expect to be doing a lot of caring for Ryan (Wallybee and her parents all have colds right now, Wallybee after only recovering from a cold last week). I'll also probably apply for a student loan for the Master of Finance, and enrol in a course in Training and Assessment.
That's probably enough for one weekend.
So is anyone dancing naked in the woods to celebrate the Summer Solstice? (which happens June 21 at 1:45 A.M. EDT)
Chores, grocery shopping (now an adventure involving driving 45 miles to 'the city'), preparing to have a couple extra teen boys here for a couple weeks. In between chores, getting out on the lake for some R&R.
Perhaps dancing naked in the woods, but it will have to be a quick dance because way too cold out.
Weekend:
therapy tonight (I'll start HP7), then dinner at diner
Sleep in a bit Saturday, then karate, then McD lunch, then Karate belt test, then playdate, at some point me to make a menu for next week
Sleep in a bit Sunday, then take mac to meet psychiatrist for evaluation, meet up with brother and hand off mac, go pick up a book from freecycler, maybe see a friend, grocery shop before mac gets home
I'm off work today, going to Trader Joe's and getting a massage. Other thrilling weekend plans include the library and possibly laundry, although the rain may mean that I actually just stay in the house all weekend, in which case I hope to do some cleaning.
Not today, but tomorrow and Sunday of course.
I will happily trade any of your your rain for my 96 degree heat with humidity.
This weekend mr. flea wants to go look at Priuses. We will also probably swim. I want a nap.
