Natter 63: Life after PuppyCam
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Lord, that is one pissed-off kitty.
My sister's Pomeranian has a lion cut, but it's already starting to grow out a bit.
Speaking of familial things, I'm watching the Redwing-Penguins game with my BiL, nephew, and the nephew's nifty-cool girlfriend. She's a computer engineering student who also knows some electrical engineering and she gets my Trek jokes. It's a pretty nice way to spend the evening, especially as the 'Wings are doing fairly well.
I agree - the ABC coverage sucked. And they took stuff that was on the ESPN coverage and just repeated it. What's up with that?
The Acorn Rocked.
Plus, the Belmont: love that the Bird Boys boy did so well. Clearly, everyone was right when they said that Borell should have ridden over the track before hand. Also, Mine that Bird did seem ranker than at the Preakness. (Can't speak to the Derby since he pretty much didn't get covered at the Derby.)
But, it pleases me that Birdstone's babies are doing so well.
It also pleases me that Summer Bird is a homebred and that his owner/breeders are pretty small time. You know, compared to, for example, the rulers of Dubai.
Did I mention I just put out diatom Friday night? Ook.
am very excited that you have your washer/dryer.
Just watched the Tivo'd race, which I enjoyed, so thanks for the whitefont.
Now watching the Tivo'd hockey game. And then I'll watch Tivo'd Torchwood. I love Tivo.
Not like how I feel about Tino.
Our friend's cat, whom we used to call the FU cat because of his general state of being, used to get the lion's cut every summer, whereupon he became very briefly cuddly because he was cold. Hee.
I just washed a bunch of shoes. (Not because I now have a washer and dryer, they were due. )
You'd so laugh if you saw the contraption I use to vent it out the window. RIght now just foam board, but I'll use that as a template to do it in wood (maybe ask my neighbor or pay someone) for a more permanent solution.
