Scary!!
Probably another infrastructure problem, like the steam that came from the NYC pipe a year or so ago.
I wanna go home now! I hate Friday afternoons at work, especially in the summer.

This comment on sfist gives you an idea of the likelihood we would be in that area:
According to Alert SF, "Avoid the area of Polk / O'Farrell for next hour due to fire in underground vault. Heavy smoke. Traffic in area is impacted." Also, as always, you could very well get shot and killed at Polk and O'Farrell, or groped by bachelor party revelers from the nearby O'Farrell Theater, so do be careful.

Harrrrrrr. So true. It is very noisy around us right now, though, what with the news copters and the traffic diversions.
heh ... we went through several summers when we had manhole covers being exploded out of place. It got very exciting.

I keep wondering why Al Quaida doesn't take credit for these explosions. Instill a little terror, boys! Spread a rumor! The loonly right will fly right off the handle for you and the conspiracy theorists will believe you for years.
It makes a gal think they just aren't that organized.
This is why PR firms exist.
Timelies all!
The only thing on our schedule this weekend is the monthly Open Sing, which is tomorrow. This month's topic is names(songs should either have a proper name, or the word "name" in it)
I'm noodling around Hulu and looking at pilots. I just started watching something called Royal Pains. My reaction thus far: the white privilege, it burrrrrrrns. Oy.
I think that that's the show's entire premise, shrift. Although I suppose an oil magnate could show up. I doubt they'll deal with the area's black residents.
I have the premiere on my TiVo waiting to be watched, but there's tennis and MSM that has my current attention.
My weekend will be spent studying ways to convince Jamaican men to stop spreading AIDS.

I was having a problem with it before we even got to the Hamptons, so I guess it's not going to be the show for me.
