Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

Art Crawl!!!

Um, not really but if Calvin Borel wins aboard Mine that Bird , I guess they'll call it that.

Doesn't matter - it wasn't the Triple Crown 'til Sir Barton won it anyway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The ads for the Belmont are talking about a "rare Jockey Triple Crown". Rare, one assumes, because the possibility of it happening never occurred to anyone.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm wondering why some of those men are considered nerds. Mick Jagger? Really? I mean, I loves me some nerdiness, but I do think that's stretching the definition a bit.

I don't know if they're considered nerds, but I think they're sporting elements of nerd style. Probably more hipster nerd style.

I would have thought that in 1961 or so, a man in a white shirt, no tie, and skinny trousers would have looked hip, even fashion forward, not nerdy.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I think they're all hip for their times -- icons, even -- but they're in styles that we would now consider nerdy. Except that it's more nerd-chic than actual nerd.

Back then, that would have been considered "casual Mod," wouldn't it?
