Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hugs are always appropriate.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

All I meant by that was, if two people want to hug, they usually can. But I'm done with this, I bow to the majority here who find hugs freakish, rude, invasive, and a false display of affection. It's far easier to refrain.

Were you in theatre?

Heh. No. From what I recall it wasn't a theatre thing, it was a jocks-and-queen-bees thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But I'm done with this, I bow to the majority here who find hugs freakish, rude, invasive, and a false display of affection.

Who has said any of those things?

Newsflash: Packing - still boring. But I've accomplished a lot. I know you were all wondering.

Have watched a lot more Trek, too. Love.

Also,

Happy Birthday, Gud!

Happy Birthday, Sean!

ETA: Randomly, I just had a memory of when I said something about "Star Track" to my sister when I was probably five. That's when I learned the word trek and what it meant.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm also looking longingly at netbooks. I'll probably get one before my trip to Greece this fall, as I don't want to schlep my laptop with me.

Speaking of Greece, I bought my plane tickets yesterday, so it's starting to look like it'll really happen. Yay!

Now tagless for your comfort.

On the other hand, I kind of love my neighborhood, and it's too bad we have kids or I'd be playing Spock/Uhura with my husband.

Tipsy!flea is FUNNEEEEE!

DH ordered Chinese food while we were at the gym. The combination of crab rangoon and shavasnana saved my kids' lives tonight. They've not been good listeners today.

Hee. Yes, I think we should have more visits from Tipsy!Flea!!! I'm amused. :)

I'm also now in the Las Vegas airport. One more that has free wifi, something I think all airports should embrace--there would be FAR less passenger rage, I think. :) Sure, it's less of a moneymaking opportunity, but you'd save so much in complaints and security...

Um. Sorry if I am misreading comments like

it was a jocks-and-queen-bees thing

I'm in a really shitty fucking mood. I'll just go away and come back when I'm less likely to snap.

meara, there is a nice quickie spa in McCarren where you can get a decent pedi or chair massage for a good price! I could live in that airport.
