Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm definitely leaning toward the 10" and a nice long battery life. (that's what she said.)

I would love to benefit from your exhaustive research, either here or in my LJ. I'm definitely leaning toward the 10" and a nice long battery life.

Cool. I mean, I had fantasies about this guy: [link] but it's not available in the states yet, and even when it is, it will probably be $$$, which is not what I want out of a netbook.

Right now, I'm getting really good life out of my 6 cell battery on the Asus. The Acer Aspire has a bad rep as far as battery life goes, plus the machine can apparently get borked badly when it runs out of battery.

Why the Asus over the Acer Aspire 10", Plei? I've been waffling among several models. I never would have thought HP, but I did try one last week and I really liked the keyboard.

t also wants a netbook

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Gud!

That's what she said.

Smart people know they're smart.

Secure smart people know they're smart.

Giving or getting a hug from someone you love? Nothing better.

Good sex and good chocolate come to mind. But it depends on the mood.

The Brighton pier amusement arcade in chain form.

But with less variety, I think.

Do you hug them if it's been all of two hours since you last saw them? Because that's what I recall from school.

Were you in theatre?

Hee. Theater geeks and hugging and massages! Ah, I miss theater geek massages...

I, too, want a netbook. Am considering buying myself one as an early birthday present. Maybe a several-months-early birthday present...though honestly, it'd mostly be for hauling around on business travel, when I want to be able to use it for personal surfing instead of feeling vaguely guilty or weird about looking at stuff on the work 'puter. But the work 'puter has the cell card, see...

Upgrading the RAM in the Asus to 2g doesn't violate your warranty, which it apparently does with the Acer. The battery life is better. The reviews with actual users who have tried both is better.

(I hated the trackpad on the HP, which is why it left the running in the early stages.)

I am amazed no one turned this into a cowgirl joke.

I also want a netbook. But that money is probably going to getting my cat's tooth pulled.

Happy birthday Gud.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Good sex and good chocolate come to mind. But it depends on the mood.

Good sex I'll grant you, but there are limitations on when and where one can get it. Hugs are always appropriate. And a hug from Franny or Isaac or Cody? Way better than chocolate.

I had a friend in college, name of Michael. He was a fine hug that boy.
