I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

And successful launch of Atlantis!

I was very very tense up to the point they jettisoned the boosters. I wasn't the only one. It was really cool to watch it on a huge screen with all my coworkers. You could hear the collective inhale when the main engines ignited.

Challenger left its mark. And come landing, it'll be Columbia's mark.

And successful lauch of Atlantis!

Woot!!!

Oh, man, speaking of swine flu possibly, I saw the STUPIDEST thing yesterday. My neighbor riding her bike wearing a face mask but NO HELMET! Idiot. I don't know her but if I'd been close enough I seriously would have said something (even though it's none of my business ha!).

Oh, msbelle! My neighbor (not the stupid one, the antique dealer) re-covered the part of the bench that had the rip with black vinyl and sold it almost immediately! (Turns out she has a space in an antique mall in the neighborhood.) The girl who bought it was going to put it on lay-away but she checked her bank balance there at the store and decided she could take it right away. She was that excited about it! So, YAY! it's gone to someone who will love it. And raised money for charity! I told her I'd bring her the chair by after my ride, if that's okay with you, sara.

No problem, it's just sitting in my basement, keeping the cleaning supplies company.

Coding and Sleeping

I need to paint unicorns on their faces.

I'm not sure if it'll work without the rainbow and ribbons.

No Roomba advice?

I don't think they are that effective as the only vacuum cleaner in the house. But maybe it would be if you don't have 2 cats and a dog and lots of long hair and an old house. I've been thinking about getting a reconditioned Dyson actually. I haven't been able to find bags for my old, kinda shitty, vacuum cleaner recently and I have a boyfriend with allergies moving in! I haven't quite been able to pull the trigger on the purchase yet.
